May 18, 2014 will be our annual concert. The title of the concert will be "Lovers and Other Adversaries". It will consist of a series of exciting and dramatic scenes with themes ranging from grand opera, Viennese operetta, and the American musical theater.

With costumes, sets and fabulous singing, this looks to be a night to remember. The event will feature Cantor David Katz, tenor, Hayden DeWitt, lyric mezzo-soprano, and accompanist Dr. Geraldine Boyer-Cussac.

The Institute of Adult Jewish Studies (IAJS)

The Institute of Adult Jewish Studies (IAJS) is a consortium of twelve synagogues (Reform, Conservative and Orthodox) serving Northeast Nassau County. Each fall, on Monday evenings, the IAJS offers thirteen weeks of lectures by world-renowned speakers on a wide variety of Jewish-related subjects. In addition, for eight of those weeks, classes by local rabbis and lay instructors precede the lectures.
